Are trying to SCREAM at you on Yahoo Answers?

Chat etiquette dictates that when you type in all caps you are indeed yelling. Yet I see all kinds of people typing in all caps when they ask or answer a question. Kinda makes me think of Pee-Wee Herman. Stop yelling! Haha Haha! I'm not sure whether they're trying to yell or they just want to stand out amongst all the other questions and/or answers.

Hang on I can't hear what you are saying I had these ear plugs in. Now what did you want to know? Oh that? Yes could be, or they could just be suffering from an inferiority complex and desperately want noticed. Sometimes it would be nice to have a bold or an italics function when posting on here.

OMG. I do not think that typing in CAPS is SCREAMING.
I MEAN CAN YOU EVEN HEAR ME AS I AM TYPING THIS?
I cannot stand how people get all torn up over CAPS!
When i was on AOL people would say STOP YELLING using CAPS and that JUST MADE ME WANT TO WRITE IN CAPS THAT MUCH MORE.
I think it is silly about the whole CAPS DEAL.

Yeah, it is probably due to an inability to express frustration and rage in the real world. So we take their abuse here. I suppose it's better than them screaming in my actual face, what with the high risk of spittle flying at me.

yes- it's so annoying. And rude. and obnoxious. You know it's been scientifically proven that people actually listen and pay more attention to people who whisper than scream. And it doesn't kill your vocal cords either.

nope! i also use all caps in answering but it doesn't mean that i'm angry, most of the time, i just would like to emphasize my answer.

nope I think that they think, that you will pay more attention to what they have to say if it is in all caps.
