I know that one zoo has actually bred a lioness and a tiger and (Napoleon Dynamite aside) produced a "liger." This would prove that the two species are similar enough to breed. Other successful cross-breeding : a false killer whale and a dolphin in a marine park in Hawaii (called a wholphin, no joke) and of course horses and donkeys to produce mules. But I would imagine that these hybrids would follow the pattern of other hybrid species in being sterile, always male, unusually strong and belligerent. But as far as appearance the tiger is much larger and longer than a lion. A lion is stockier. And of course, their coats are different.

as far as actually body mass goes, tigers are much larger than lions. however, they are both felines, so in the respect they have the same anatomical body as your kitty cat.

Depends on exactly how exactly you want the answer.
As far as I know they have the same muscles, bones, and organs.
There are differences however in some of the muscle sizes, bone sizes, and organ sizes.
