Do you like being the only child?

Would you prefer having brothers and sisters or do you like being the only child? Do people always say you're egotistical, but that's ok cause you're the only child?

I am the only child. This was very comfortable situation for me during my childhood. I didn't have to share things with siblings and I didn't have to fight for attention of my parents. But now I am adult and sometimes I feel lonely without so close people like brother or sister. That's why I have two daughters and I hope they will be close each other all their lifes. People don't say I am egoistical and I think that it is my parents effort. When I was child they always paid my attention not to be egoistical.

there are pros and cons of being a only child

good: no one to fight with, gets everything
bad: no one to play with, gets really lonely, gets too much attention

and i dont think its ok to be egotistical even if you're an only kid.

this is my conclusion: i could have brothers and sisters when i want them and be an only child when i want to(thats the answer to your Q. both)

im not an only child (anymore) but i'm 15 years older than my brother, and i think i like being the only child only slightly more than having a sibling. only because it was quieter in the house and i didnt have someone following me everywhere i went lol. and i've never once had anyone tell me that i was a spoiled brat or egotistical. but overall im glad i have my little brother around and im glad im his big sister because he makes my life fun and i learn so much just from having him around

i'm an only child. i think it's quite good being an only child, u have loads of attention from ur parents and wont be in those situations where u are jealous of ur brother or sister for more attention from ur parents. u also dont need to share stuff with tat much people wen u r the only child. and it would be a less financial burden to ur parents when things arent going well.

i was not an only child but i grew up as one i was born 15 years after all three other brother and sisters so by the time i started school there were all gone no its a major set back i was always not invited in my family circle so only child i became

I prefer with sibling around. I'm d only child in my family. Bad 4d only child is been lonely which no brothers n' sister around. All d pressure on d lonely child.
