I believe all great nations has peaks and valleys and one day like Rome the US will fall from the status of superpower . It will come on faster if we contnued to denigrate ourselves from within and be overcome by the inside.It is not as hard todefeat an enemy if that enemy has termitic holes in its foundations.

most empires fail / fall from the same issues.
they are conquered
they suffer a catastrophic event
they collapse from within
when they collapse from within it is usually due to high growth followed by stagnation or dissalution of the masses
