No you are not tone deaf far from it. The first virsion was in the Key X and the version you don't like is in the Key of Y You might lige G major and B minor, but if you heard a song sung in F major or D flat minor, you wont like it. Muisic is a frequency and a vibration which a human body needs as a body food. Body likes the vibrations of some keys and not others and when you are hit in the ears by a key you don't like, well you don't like the song at all. Change the key and play it, you might like it. This is why you like singer X and your sister can't stand singer X but is mad about singer A. A vocalist is a transmitter of sound and in singing the key and the voice timber all paly a part in affecting the listener. The listerner is a receiver the the singers vocal ability. There is almost no greater blasphemy than a perfectly good song put to country music. Hinder's version is way better.

I've not heard it but I hate the hinder version so I'm not going to waste my time listening to it.

i never liked the song in the first place, even for hinder's version...it's not soulful enough, or should i say it's trying so hard to be soulful...

you think the song itself is bad, you should see the video he did for it...at his wedding he's talking to his ex. what an idiot!! he totally missed the meaning of the song
