A server, in a typical sense, is itself is a computer.

However, you can have a computer that has "server" processes - any number of them - running on a single server computer.

Taken further, with virtual partitioning, a physical computer can be split into many logical computers.

In the usual scheme of things, a server is just a computer that has lots of storage space. One computer can have many "virtual" servers - perhaps one per drive, or if the drives are partitioned, it could have several. There's no definite number that's an upper limit that I know of.
