I know that we have free speech and that we differ in opinions on many things these days. But it is the way people say their opinions these days...they are rude, crude and real smart a**es at times. Don't we get it? Have your free speech, have your own opinion...but represent yourself properly..I never could stand a smart a**.

Did you consider that she might have good reason for her sarcasm? 4 years ago they opposed an idiotic war that the majority of the nation supported. The majority of the nation basicly accused them of being traitors. 4 years later, they win grammys, have best selling albums, and everyone supports their right to speach. I'd be sarcastic as well.

This whole mess is PRIMARILY the fault of our Idiot in Chief, but the Democrats who cowardly did not oppose this because of public opinion polls, the media who were afraid to report any opposing opinion, the people who mindlessly accepted the illogical bilge they were fed were ALSO to blame. Unless you opposed this in 2002, when it mattered, you are partially to blame. One minute, they were traitors, the next brave heroes. I'd be a smart *** too.

Yes I did. " This is a first. I'm Speechless." Ok not so bad. I can tolerate that a bit. Even though it is a jab at what she did. But, this comment was uncalled for. " In the famous words of The Simpsons ' Ha Ha' (imitating Bart Simpson)" was a tasteless act. I do not think they should give back the grammies or have them taken away from them as the other two were very poised. But Natalie Maines aka The Fat Chick, should have known better. I have said a billion Times I HATE BUSH. So I do not base this on that Comment awhile back, as I never like the Dixie Chicks. I am as unbiased as they come. Her actions at the Grammies were very unladylike and uncalled for.

not at all. But then again, I'm a big supporter and fan of the Chicks. I feel that the Chicks's comments were actually rather tame in comparison to what they COULD have said to their "haters".

Absolutley NOT!!!!! We all have the right to express our views and opinions, and I don't think she was offensive, or out of line in any way. I never could stand a crybaby.

A Little, didn't she learn her lesson yet . I'm not saying she stupid or anything but to get up there and say or do anything ,but accept the award and say your thanks is crazy. She just doesn't care or has balls bigger than mine. That's probally why they are going their separate ways come the fall. The other two are fed-up with her.
