Someone please help!
I was on my way to my friends house on Friday. and I thought I got lost so I reversed my car and got into the left turn lane. Then I realized that I was supposed to go striaght. So I turned around to see if a car was coming, and when I turned back I saw there was a yellow light so I went for it because I thought it just came on, but when I was in the middle the light turned red. And i'm not sure if I saw the flash or if it was a car's headlights, I was so tensed that I couldn't tell. And I didn't tell my dad yet cause I know he'll be mad. I'm really scared. I was in the middle when the light turned red, is it considered running a red light??

Sometimes, the camera will snap a picture if you are in the intersection when the lights turn red. Don't worry too much, these photos are usually tossed out when they see that you were in the intersection when the light changed.

If you did crossed the stop line before the red light came on then you are ok. Normally the camera will only come into action when the red light turned on and then its sensor at the line would start at the same time to detect for any vehicle that cross the line. You should also not miss that camera's light flash if it is at night because it is stronger and faster than normal car headlights. So don't worry and just forget about it. Next time be more careful for others and yourself when you are at traffic junctions whether there is or no red light camera.
