Yes but in a different way. It's not the fear of being without Mom or Dad like the kids get but more like fear of abandonment (which kids do feel). Fear of an abandoned relationship?

OH YEAH. I experienced that last year when my fiance left for 7 months to live in another country right after proposing to me. That hurt me so bad that I still can't get over it. I actually had a nervous breakdown and ended up in a hospital for a week. It wasn't pleasant. I still can't get over it. Don't know if I ever will.

Yes. It is basically a sense of impending loss of comfort and the familiar.
