Is this blatant endorsement? He hasn't even won the Democratic bid, yet Yahoo wants to promote him like crazy..... Where's Edwards? Where's Clinton? Where's Giuliani for the GOP? I know I have seen small headlines about them but nothing like Obama has received. Any thoughts on this?

I am not racist, but it is because he is black. There is a lot of hope for him to win making him the first non-white male to win the presidency.

Edwards had his media time 3 weeks ago when he made his presidential candidate announcement in the 9th Ward of New Orleans. He had his work clothes on, with residents, mostly children in the background. They were all clearing trash from a partially-destroyed home. Hillary was on C-span today giving a "town hall" meeting in Keane, New Hampshire. She was also splattered on the yahoo main page as soon as she made her announcement. Remember they made a big deal about it because she used the internet to make her announcement by video through her website? Giuliani hasn't made his announcement yet. He formed a presidential exploratory committee, but he hasn't formally announced his intentions. It was Obama's turn this week. Don't worry, you'll see a lot more. Next up will be Gov. Mitt Romney, Republican from Massachusetts.

Nothing against Edwards, Clinton, or Giuliani, but Obama is definitely in the ball park.

Perhaps, you think, he may just be a winner?

This last week was when Obama declared that he was going to offically run for president, while everyone knew he was going to, this was the offical release and so people talked about it before it happened and after it happened. They all are somewhere, I was watching the news in Hawaii and they mostly only show Barack because he is from Hawaii, I am sure that it happens everywhere like that.

Like Joe Biden says, he's clean and articulate. If he weren't a socialist, and he was a Republican, they'd have an affectionate "family-related" name for him instead As long as he does what they want and pipes down when Hillary tells him too, he'll be the fine diversion necessary for her right now.

As far as Yahoo is concerned, it's just media, and they all pretty much follow the same hype. Google can be even worse...

He's the only presidential candidate who has formally declared his candidacy. All the others have only formed exploratary committees - even though some are actively campaigning, they have not formally thrown their hats in the ring.

Just like any other news service, Yahoo wants to attract readers. They will therefore run stories that they think people are interested it. I'm really getting tired of this whole conservative/liberal media junk...the Media outlets want to make money...it's a business that's all.
