I have an antique Pewter or lead (not sure which) spoon which I would like to know more about. Is there an online site that will evaluate it from a photo?

Kovel's Antiques on line, in your local library you might find a book with silver, pewter markings, that it may help you to identify what kind you do have, these markings are usually found on the underside of the stem of the spoon, such as Rogers IS for an example.

they look like tourist spoons. you know instead of the tee shirt. it's hard to tell if they're worth anything. It realy depends on things like limited editions etc. you could probably pick up a book from the library on spoons that might list hard to find ones. some of them look as if they might be native design. check to see if there is a makers mark on the spoon. that may help to narrow down the search. as well it looked like you had the packaging that might give you some clues. sorry it's hard to tell from the photos as you can't see all the details. you might also try taking them to a local collector to see if they might be able to help. good luck

I'd start by going to Google and put in antique spoons, and click on Images. Compare yours to what is there.
