Our sex is determined at the moment of inception when a female egg cell unites with a male sperm cell. Every female egg has an X sex chromosome, but a sperm may have either an X or Y sex chromosome. The male sperm determines the sex of the baby.

The male's X or Y chromosome determines a baby's SEX.

Can he make a girl? Yes, but it may take a her having 12 more children. You just never know which sperm will get there first.

FALSE the only thing that can determine the babies gender is whether an X or Y chromosome fertilises the egg. Male sperm is faster than female so if you have sex on the day of ovulation there is more chance of having a boy as will reach the egg faster, however, male sperm doesn't live as long so if you have sex a few days before ovulation it has more chance of being a girl as they live longer but travel slower. There is not 100% chance of this though. Stories of eat carbs for a girl and proteins for a boy and positions etc are all wives tales and culture.

Yes it is the father who determines the sex of the baby. It is dependent on the sperms which pentrates the ovum to create a baby. The sex of the baby depends on these differences between the sperm cells. Although the sex of the baby is determined by the sperm, it is partly a consequence of the environment into which that sperm is received. Traditionally an acid meduim is thought to increase the chances of having a male child and an alkaline meduim a female child. Because of this people have douched with the acid or alkaline solutions before intercourse, but there is little eveidence that this significantly affects your chances of producing one sex ot the other

Yes, it is up to the man to determine the sex of a baby. I would think it would still be a 50/50 chance of having a girl. I guess his male sperm are really good swimmers-lol!

Ive read about a system that uses positions to help with the selection of gender. Male sperm typically isnt as long lasting as female thats why females are so much more common yet at the same time its statistically proven that males are born more in times of high stress or war. I dont recall the name of the system but googling choosing the sex of baby or something along those lines may turn up something. Goodluck

it is true that the sperm will determine if its male or female but the man has no way to control it, if her acid balance is off, she can be killing the sperm for girls, she should consult a pregnancy specialist. its not the choice of the man at all, but it is his sperm that make the child male or female.
