Yes, absolutely. It is wrong on so many levels to discriminate against people for something that is natural and just a part of who they are. Many people simply do not realize just how discriminated gays are because they take many of those things for granted.

Religion no longer holds the only power over marriage. Therefore they should be allowed to marry. They deserve equal treatment in all things but should not be able to hold a position i a christian church. I say this because the bible is very specific in how it sees the gay community. The bible flat out says ,"Man shall not lie with man." This is the right of that community. Knowing that god seems to disagree with gay people makes me wonder why they would want to be apart of that community but that is another thing all together.
Anyhow, any argument made against Gay's is from a religious or bigoted point of view therefore should be moot. Gay's should have the right to be anything and do anything that anyone else would.

The question should be whether all sexual orientations should have the same rights as heterosexual?
There are several, including pedosexuals, though Congress did order the APA to withdraw that conclusion.
So, what sexual orientations should have the rights and who should have the power to make that decision?
Should one or two orientations decide for the others, such as bisexuals, about whether should have the right to marry?
And what of those attracted to close relatives. I read an article recently about how adults involved in incestuous relationships see a possible future for legalizing their relationships. With current reproductive technology, as well as emerging DNA science, avoid getting pregnant, and even having defect free children, is looking possible. The article was written by a man whose friend caught his finance with her own father, whom she didn't know while growing up.
So, who decides on the limits and what right do they have to make that decision about the lives of others?

They already do. What they are currently seeking is more rights than straight people. Example: Can straight people marry anyone they want? No, they can only marry eligible people.
