Yes...it's annoying...telemarketers are annoying even when they speak English properly. What I can't stand is when the phone companies outsource their service calls to India. The English is very difficult to understand there...and I am used to speaking with lots of non-native English speakers. One time I asked for someone who spoke English--not meaning to be rude, but it was. The person on the other end became rude and said they were speaking English...and a few other things. I told him I was sorry and needed to speak to a supervisor or someone I could understand...that didn't help either. After trying to get my refund check...as they had over charged me...well...I didn't get the check until a month later. I could not speak about the issue with anyone in the United States. It was very annoying...it was frustrating. What I can't stand is when they keep calling me "Ma'am" even after I tell them my first name...and I ask the guy why they continue to say Ma'am when I am clearly not a woman...and then ask them would they feel better if I called them Ms.? That usually works.

Oh my yes, they are annoying. Thank goodness I'm on the no call list so I very rarely get telemarketers anymore. If I do at all I just promptly hang up on them without saying a thing. But if you are actually interested in whatever product they're promoting ask what it is then research it yourself on the Internet or at the library. That is really the only way you will get clear information.

Telemarketers are greater stressful. They call and interupt what i'm doing, even no count if that's to easily see who's asking on the caller identity, yet they're going to shop calling, until they get via. The unsolicited mail and unsolicited mail, it fairly is easily rid of, you do no longer even would desire to open it, basically delete and its long previous. The surveys, often you verify in to do those, and in the event that they're those on line, you're able to do them or no longer do them. those that decision you, they're basically as stressful, yet you may forget approximately them, or %. up and tell them your no longer interested in engaging. For the main section, i'm on the donotcall checklist, so they seems after maximum telemarketers. There are nonetheless the occasional survey which will call, or perhaps the occasional corporation soliciting for donations that don't fall on the checklist for besides the fact that reason, and those, I basically tell them i will no longer be able to locate the money for to donate something and that they often provide up. some, they choose to initiate with a $40, $30 or $20 a month, and once you assert you will no longer be able to locate the money for those, they bait you much greater saying they are able to settle for a decrease volume. so because it fairly is once you purely tell them you may locate the money for something. I had a decision like that, and enable them to circulate via their element, and then while they have been carried out, I informed the guy, i comprehend you will ask for money, and appropriate now i will no longer be able to locate the money for something. They thanked me, then hung up, kinda rudely, in case you inquire from me, yet a minimum of they circulate to do their element.

This is why we are on the do not call list! If there is something, or product I am interested in I look it up on line. Most of the telemarketers are used to being hung up on and probably dont take it personally, they are in to much of a hurry to get to the next person.

Yeah, or when you call customer service and you get Indian people or spanish people that attempt to learn english a quarter of the way. If you are going to live in America and speak with people in America, learn the language. I would probably just hang up on them, or if I am in a really bad mood, I might tell them to go back to their own country or learn the language.

I'm never interested. I hang up before I even hear what they're selling. First I think you should tell your husband to stop doing that... it probably really hurts some of their feelings. Maybe you could ask to speak to a supervisor or ask for a website or something.
