right..not everyone likes music. but THAT is very rare. music somehow goes through one's soul and touches our inner self at least, so that indeed is very rare.
maybe they still haven't found the right genre that would suit their taste.
i love music....but music doesn't like me. *sigh (why don't i have a good voice)

It might be due to tone deafness - that is the inability to distinguish between musical notes. Alternatively, it might be due to just not liking the music one is exposed to. For example, I love music, but if all I had to listen to was, say, the top 40, or even worse, someone like Justin Timberlake, I would probably think I hated music.

I personally cannot fathom not liking music (of some kind)! It boggles my mind that someone would not find it soothing, rhythmic, pleasing to the ear. Unless they had some negative childhood experience while listening to music, but even then, it's very very unusual!

I loved music as a teen and to mid twnties, I'm 40 now and it's not as big a part of my life now. I think the more responsibilities that you get, tyhe less important it is....p.s. I listen to jazz and classical now opposed to hard rock and soft rock when I was younger

I cant go a day without it,but it just may be that it doesnt move
you.music is a means of enducing emotions and connections
all art in all forms does the same thing.what does move you?

people dance to different drummer's or just a heart beat
perhaps you thrive on more subtle rhythms like wind ....
