Why do you love the one you love? And if you don't have someone to love, what are you looking for in love?

(Just for reference, this is a serious question, I'd like to hear people's honest answers. Though funny ones are ok too...)

I love scruffy because she's kind, intelligent and the most genuine person I've ever met. I love her because we share a lot of interests, the sex is great, and we share the same values.

Also, because of brain chemicals.

I don't have anyone right now. But one thing I'm really looking for is sinceriety, and him being real. I don't want any embelished resumes, no person pretending to be someone they think I want or someone who is always worried about saying the "right" thing to get me. I want him to say what he thinks (I say this knowing that we will knock heads every now and then).
I also want someone I will be happy with and around. But also someone I'll get really mad at every now and then, too. It would be too perfect and boring if that didn't happen.

Because from the moment I met him, my tongue and brain would not co-operate. He makes me laugh, has beautiful green eyes, and is a Man after God's own heart.

I love because my heart won't do what my head tells it too! I am a goner!
