What I mean is ............ some of you will not answer a question if you look at other's answers first & it is the same or similar to yours. You pass it up, right? Others don't care, they just answer. I just will not go in and look at other people's answers until I answer. My opinion is mine, even if it is the same or similar to yours, too. If I see a question I want to answer, I just answer it. I am sorry if it seems redundant to repeat what other people have said, but I got a right to answer, too, no matter what. Maybe some questioners want to see how many people have similar opinions, too, ya know !!! We can only be unique some of the time, but not all of the time. So, I am venting, sorry..............boring.

I look at other answers and usually, if I see an answer similar to mine, skip the question.

I guess it depends on what the question is. I mean, if it's a yes or no type question and it already has 20 answers that are all the same....what's really the point in answering it again when it's clear that the asker has teh correct answer. If it's an opinion type question, then sure, I'll answer it regardless. Sometimes, I'll look at the number of answers and if it's like over 20 or so, I don't bother.

I agree with reddyyo-it depends on the question. If someone asks a specific question and wants a specific answer, and someone's already answered it adequetly, then I won't bother. But if the asker is just asking to see what kinds of responses they'll get, and the question intrigues me, I'll probably answer regardless of whether or not I repeat someone else's answer.

I answer questions that I want to answer, I will NOT answer stupid, inane questions that people put up just to annoy or be argumentative. You got to pick your battles.
