Thanks for all the replies so far, it's been eye-opening...there's an actor by that name (Stellan Skaarsgard), andactress Jennifer Connelly's son is also named Stellan.

To be honest I really dont like the name but who cares what me or anyone else thinks I think you should follow your heart and choose the name you like its your baby good luck with the name picking I know it can be a really difficult job people didnt like some of the names I was picking for my son but now his here and everyone only knows him as that name and cant picture him being called anything else :)

Eeeewwww! Stalone, but, where does Stellan come from ???
Go thru a Baby Name Book and look for something similar if you like it that much, but, that sounds more like a name.
Stellan is Gellin'--know what I mean?? the commercial.
Also, hard to answer w/out knowing your preferences, last name, ethnicity -- if you're wanting to stick w/that.
If you're into Fantasy Worlds: try googling names from movies of sci-fi or fantasy !
