Confidence comes from thinking that you are good at something. It requires you not only to be positive but more importantly be successful. To be successful you must prove to yourself that you are able to complete a task. Let's take driving a car, for example. Most people would agree that after driving for five years they are better drivers now then they were when they were beginner drivers. That's confidence! Five years of driving experience has proven to them that they are better drivers, hence they have succeeded. If you on the hand, had an accident for every year of those five years, then you wouldn't be feeling to confident about your driving ability. Confidence, therefore, may be acquired by first starting out small with a series of wining conditions while slowly over time increasing the risks of failure while increasing the risk of reward.

It's instilled into a person by parents, teachers & circumstances as we grow. If your experiences are mostly good & you are given positive feed back & praise by the people you trust, then you develop high self esteem thus making you confidant. Everyone has negative experiences at some time in their life but with confidence they are able to cope properly with the situation & have a positive outcome. That is why it is so important what we teach & instill in our children & that we reassure them everday that they are loved and we are proud of them.

confidence is not from the physical world,it is metaphysical so the answer would mostly also be metaphysical.
confidence is within character
character comes from combined every bits and pieces from your "memory" creating a uniquely you,
memory is buried deep within your brain...it is just like a computer file.works like a computer file, things you can do to computer files applies same to memory, think about it.

natually speaking, confidence comes from memory
yes it does...thats where it came from...the word confidence itself comes from human mind where memory is buried.

what i am saying is undeniable...

Confidence is no virtue.... it is merely a deductive logic applied on past experience... if you succeed a number of times, your confidence would be high... if you fail a number of times, your confidence would be low... as simple as that.... in this deductive logic, a higher factor is applied for more recent past results and those which we believe have similarity to the future result we are working for.

Since in general, hard work succeeds more often than not, one way to gain confidence is to put in hard work.

experience, pure and simple. Confidence is knowing about your ability. And there is only one way to find that out...so jump in the deep end.

Confidence comes from many positive experiences in life starting at an early age, also it comes from believing in God and knowing he loves you. It can also come from loving parents who incourage you, and help you learn from your mistakes and who never downgraded you when you do make them.
