yes they do need heat lamps and heat pads, plus they eat 2- 3 crickets 3 times a week. I have many green tree frogs and they are great pets. Warning: do not feed frogs wild crickets. Also when you buy crickets, dust a little phospherous free caalcium dust on the crickets befores you feed the tree frog.

Arboreal green tree frogs should
have under tank heat. Wire mesh
secure lids to prevent escape and
over heating. They are not good
swimmers, so be careful what type
of water container you use. You can
mist to maintain the right humidity.
The smaller ones can be fed every day.
The larger ones can be fed every other day.
They mostly eat crickets. But will eat other
bugs if small. Be careful what you give
them, to protect them from parasites.
