I don't mean this in a derogatory way, but there are some people I've met who start hitting on people of the same gender, but never make clear their sexuality.

It would have to be something about people's privates or their sexual preferences (acts, not orientation). I don't ask them, because when I do, I always get reported and that pisses me off.
