or give it up for adoption or even legally kick her out of the house if she plans to keep it?. I AM NOT PREGNANT OR UNDER 18. My friends little sister who is 15 recently found out she is pregnant and dosent know what to do, she will be 16 in two months. Her parents are really strict like over the top. Its crazy. So can they legally force her to get an abortion or give the baby up for a adoption? Shes like a little sister to me I have known her for a very long time. Thanks for your help

Heck no. And Abortion is Wrong anyways IMO, although it is A womens choice. (Being a Man, I might think it is wrong, but it is not my Body the child is in). I feel really sorry for her and I think her parents should be more supportive and caring to this young woman. These are her parents and they should be ashamed of themselves. Good for you for sticking up for her. In days like these it is tough to have a friend like you. Adoption is the most Viable way out, And no They cannot force her to do this either. They can Force her to move though. If they force her to move, Help her get a place to stay. Man I feel bad for her right now. My Prayers are with her.

I don't know about your friends situation. All I know is that I've often thought about adopting. I have never done it because of the ridiculous expense of an adoption agency. The only other way is to find a mother on your own without the assistance of an agent. Send me email privately if you think this girl will be looking for a loving family for the baby. We would of course want to do the background stuff and everything but, just a thought if she gets desperate. I hope all turns out well for her.

I am not sure if laws are different from state to state but where we live she can go to planned parenthood and receive counseling. It is my understanding they will help refer her to a medical doctor that will help her during the pregnancy and I believe set her up with social services so that the baby will have a fairly decent start.
Organizations like Catholic Family Services help her to decide if she would like to have the child placed for adoption. It is a very thorough screening process and I know a family who has two beautiful sons from this organization. The mother sends the birth mothers photos, letters and other mementos of the children at various ages
Finally, she may have to face the music and tell her parents. If they do blow up it will be there loss of a beautiful daughter and grandchild. My dad passed on when my son was young, a great loss for both of them. He needs to know that human vital and that family is forever. Not pride. Hope this helped.
My brother got his g/f pregnant at 17 and quit Military college on a scholarship. Dad was distraught. Life went on and he is a millionaire now.
Make your decisions. Live with them. And work to achieve your goals. Good Luck

There are many childless couples who would love the chance to adopt a baby. There are several other options that she should consider. Abortion should not be one! Ask your friend to contact Planned Parenthood TOMORROW in the town or city of her residence. They will help her in making a wise and heartfelt decision as to her future with the baby. Parents can't force her to have an abortion. All counseling sessions are confidential, and will not be provided to the parents unless your friend wants to involve them later. Please have her call tomorrow, and they will be happy to help her with her dilemma. Good luck.

They can not make her get an abortion or have her put the baby up for adoption! they can kick her out though if that is what they choose. she needs to tell her parents the truth the whole truth if she is ready to have sex and have a baby she should be ready to tell her parents and live with their decision.

It is entirely up to her to decide whether to abort or not and later on whether to give up the child for adoption or not but whatever she decides should not be in conflict with her moral beliefs and should not hurt anyone including herself. The best is to keep the child come what may.

Nooooo, not in the USA anyway. But in some states she can't get one with out her parents consent. They can charge the boy with statutory rape regardless if he is over 18 or not. So I guess they could black mail her.
