He is always asking me about random guys and where they are from and such. and if he sees me comment on a guy, he immediately has a response. now the only thing that i can think of if he isnt gay, is if he is asking me all of this to try and find out what a girl likes so he could be like them? i dont know, he is very weird, very touchy feely, very feminie and sings selena on a daily basis...anyone else know what i mean and if so, how do i confront him?

If you really feel the need to discuss his sexual orientation, then I would suggest mentioning how much he means to you as a friend, and how well you'd support him. You can include hints as to what you're getting it, and hopefully he will understand that. However it is not up to you to rush whatever is going on with him. If he really is gay, then it's best for him to come out and tell you on his terms. You will find out either way in time, if you keep him as a friend.

If you are his friend like you say you are then let him be, don't ask him even if he is he may not me ready to to admit it to you or even to himself yet. If at all possible act and talk positively about other gay guys and girls you may know. and what ever you do don't ask him if he thinks someone else might be gay or not in conversation because no matter how you spin it it will sound like you are gossiping about a gay guy and then he will never tell you anything. Just let him know you care and let him tell you in his own way in his own time.

He's your best friend, not your lover - why do you need to confront him at all? Is it important to you that you know if he should be gay? If you really must - then simply ask him and not us.
Anything we say will be conjecture - only he can tell you the truth.

1. Maybe he likes YOU and that's why he is paying extra attention to guys you mention
2. Why do you want to "confront" him? If he's gay, he's gay. If you are a good friend, you will allow him to tell you in his own time, and respect his privacy.
A great friendship is one of the very best things in life - don't spoil it by being concerned about something that is really irrelevant to the quality of your relationship - unless, of course YOU are attracted to him?

Enjoy him for the wonderful friend that he is. Friends don't have to confront friends on those kinds of things. If he wants to talk about it to you he will. It sounds like he just enjoys being your friend. I wouldn't risk ruining a good friendship. Best wishes.
