That link goes to a nVidea Geforce 7950 that I want to get. Will it work with my HP Windows XP? Right now my computer has a nVidea 6150 LE in it. Thank you very much.

Mhhh...It will work as long as you have a PCI-Express slot in your PC....I bet that video card will go for about $400.00 or $500.00 bucks though 7950's are high...But they have kick but graphics in games though....Just make sure you have PCI-Express slot....Hope this helps you.

well the nVidea Geforce 7950 is a PCI Express card. The question is the nVidea 6150 LE a PCI express card or is it onboard? and does the computer have a PCI express slot open?

I used to have this card and not in any respect had this subject nor heard of any voodoo to get it working. the main hardship I had became having to reinstall the geforce drivers after reinstalling abode windows. This became on no account annoying, even in sixteen colorings. That and whilst the ballbearings went interior the fan it sounded scratchy yet in any different case labored great for gaming for a while and a while. replace followers are in basic terms approximately $10 besides in case you ever adventure this subject later on. in the journey that your demonstrate is sparkling, verify to be certain that the visual demonstrate unit is receiving an ON sign out of your laptop at boot up (comparable as a television mild on the front). Double verify to be certain your visual demonstrate unit is plugged into the capability and that each physique your cables are related genuine. in case you have a 2nd visual demonstrate unit, attempt plugging that on in somewhat. I had a matching subject at artwork and freaked out, yet then I remembered the visual demonstrate unit cable plugged in to the two ends and that the visual demonstrate unit area became loose.

Also make sure your power supply is up to the job. 500w or more is recommended for that card. If you're using the power supply that came with the HP then you will probably have to upgrade that too.
