Depends on when you're taking your trip (which you don't say) or where you plan to fly to. If it's West Conn I'm guessing you're flying into JFK.
The fares you see posted on the online sites are probably the most you'll have to pay. You're better off trying to contact a travel agent who has a better handle on available consolidation fares, and can go through the hassle of getting you set up.
Every trip I've taken to the Philippines has always involved using an agent. I'll use the internet to get a gauge of the most I'll have to pay, as well as available carrier combinations, then work w/ an agent to get the lowest fare.

Hi there! I checked it out for you and you can get a round trip ticket starting at around USD $1300.00 and going up to around USD$ 3200.00.
These flights are all with 2 or more stops.

the best thing to do is land in new york. it will cost u from $1000.00 to $1500.00 one way from NY. off peak might be cheaper.. its a two to four hour drive from the airport depending were u are in Connecticut.. or land in Boston.. dnt think there is an international airport in Conn..

my geography sucks. sorry i dont know where manila is but try expedia.com, travelocity.com, hotwire.com to get prices for airfare (i'm assuming thats what youre taking). good luck
