Very unique, I like it. You could always call her Addi for short... how cute!

I think its really cute, but to shorten it, it would be Addy and thats cute, I like it. But when she gets older, Addy still sounds like a little girls name, she can't go by anything shorter that Addy, other than Ad (and thats just not right), so when she is older she would have to be Addison and that sounds really serious. I picture an older women in a buinss suite... However for a little girl it is really cute. If you really want to keep it as a name, I'd suggest pick a "regular" middle name, so when Addy grows up she has a choice of a different name to go by.
Addison Rose
Addison Melanie
Addison Kathrine

I like it ... sort of! looks a bit like you forgot the M and meant Madison which is probably what a lot of people will say! I don't like the name Madison at all. I quite like Addison though, I like old fashioned names and for some reason it sounds old fashioned to me, though I doubt there are too many 70year old ladies called Addison! It has a 'To Kill A Mockingbird' feel about it!

Addison is a great name for a girl. It is similar to Madison but keeps it different. I love it.

My niece has a baby girl Madison Ann & her best friend had a baby girl a month later and named her Addison Mae. Yes, it was on purpose. Now they are both pregnant again and again about a month apart. I don't know what they will name them this time.

I think it is a beautiful name. Like others have mentioned you can always use Addie/Addy as a nickname. Plus Addison is the name of one of my favorite characters on television.

My cousin's little girl is Addison and we call her Addie. I think it's okay. Not for me, though.

Traditionally, any name ending with son means son of the dad's name. So for a girl, it sounds like a boy name.
