I used to think it was Mariah Carey when she first came out then I enjoyed Celine Dion's singing more.
Whitney Houston is really great!

I'd have to say Sandy Denny has the most beautiful voice I've heard before, but then again that's the sort of music i enjoy. As far as rock goes I've yet to hear anyone with more raw and emotional vocals than Janis Joplin, and she also had a voice perfectly suited to singing the blues. It's just ashame we lost both of them so early

That's a tough one. It really depends on how the singer touches your heart. For me it would have to be Allison Krauss. She has the voice of an angel. Runner-up would have to be Celine Dion.
