The frequent show of rudeness, arrogance, pomposity and condescending behavior Hannity of Fox Noise throws at his guests is ugly behavior and extremely irritating to watch. He asks the questions without allowing his quests to complete their answers, and instead throws his own opinion to his own question at his guests. Wouldn't Fox Noise save more money by having Hannity appear with a ventriloquist's dummy? He can then ask any question he wants and have his dummy answer exactly the way it pleases him? In this way Fox Noise wouldn't have live with the notorious image of having to be stuck with a thug with such bad attitude and uncouth behavior. I frankly think that those guests he's being rude to, ought to stand up and walk away, leaving him facing the cameras and talking to himself. Hannity might just learn some good manners as a result. Why continue to let this thug enjoy belittling them in front of the camera? I would really love to hear some responses on this.

Actually, I always felt it was Alan Colmes that was the worst offender of the two.
geez...I can't stand that guy...what a rude left-wing liberal ahole who really takes sadistic pleasure in interrupting or cutting off any conservative guest.
(oops!...I do believe our political affiliation bias is showing...lol)

OK, here's the deal...it's not only the Hannity and Colmes show, but this rude, obnoxious, uncivilized behavior is running rampant all over the cable news networks. I see it on Fox and Friends in the morning and also when Fox's David Asman (the worst offender of them all) is interviewing (he literally makes me cringe), Bill Hemmer is another, and have even sent off an email to them complaining about this very thing. My complaint is that it is setting a bad example for the younger viewers who, as a result of watching, feel it's quite acceptable and normal behavior to cut off whomever they are speaking with in mid-sentence...plus, it's quite disturbing for the rest of us viewers who were taught proper manners and respect (i.e. we were taught to "never" interrupt when someone was talking).

The problem, as I understand it, is these shows have a tight agenda, a programming schedule that allows for just so many minutes per interview and the tendency is to not allow the guest to elaborate anymore than is necessary in order to cover as many subjects as possible in the allotted (short) time...so, the guest gets interrupted (you can almost hear the shows Producer in the earpiece they wear "OK...CUT HIM OFF IN 3-2-1..."...I mean, we certainly can't miss the segment about the two-headed turtle...so the segment about online predators and how to protect your child from danger is cut short and the guest speaker interrupted without finishing so we can go to (5-7 minutes) of commercials and get back in time to see the turtle segment.

Also, where a show (in the good 'ol days) could "run into" or even over a commercial start time...there are now what are called "hard breaks"...which means the commercial will start when it's supposed to...come hell or high water...the Advertiser has paid highly for this start time...so, it will be done.
This puts the added pressure on the interviewer to cut the answers short and "move on"...and of course, we equate this behavior to rudeness or a total lack of consideration for the guest.

I've always felt that instead of "cramming in" all the guests and causing this congestion, they could delete at least one of the scheduled guests or banal segments, thereby spreading out the time for each guest a little more which might alleviate the necessity for this apparent bad behavior but, no one seems willing to listen to my suggestion so far.

Do you like watching slug fests?

I can't remember exactly who was the host. I think it was Hannity, pretty sure it was, but after introducing his female guest he made an off-hand, off-subject remark about some news story he had seen about a woman having sex with a donkey and used that statement as a lead in. She didn't touch the question, but the intent of the host, to abuse and humiliate her was clear.

You're right, it's not news, it's noise.
