I didn't care about it until I got older. Now I think that 16 is way too young to start driving but I understand it's important since a lot of kids need to drive to get to work, etc.. I was a very safe driver as a kid and much more careful than most of my friends. BUT, I think back now and I did TONS of dangerous things while driving then that I would never do today. Teen drivers make me a little nervous but that's life.

They should drive but under supervision. I hate it when I see a group of high school teens all packed in a cheap Honda doin 80 on a residential street just to prove to their friends that they're cool. Driving is not a game. It's a way to get from point A to point B.

most of them suck at driving... on the other hand so did i, but i have an excuse, i never went to driving school

i got way way better through experience over years, and well maybe they'll have to make a lot of dangerous mistakes to get better. i nearly got in sooo many wrecks. i'm not sure it's their age as much as just lack of driving experience and maturity. you can't just drive all fast unless you really have an awareness of what you're doing and know about things like blind spots.

funny how they're not supposed to have sex until they're older, but it's ok to operate a death machine.. haha

The driving exams aren't tough enough.
Accident avoidance would be a great lesson to teach young drivers. How not to panic, how to keep yourself in a defensive possition, how to handle a banking curve are all lessons that they don't teach but the really should.

There should be no teen driving. Wait till they are 21. You cant drink till 21 why operate a huge machine at 16.

Same as anyone else driving-if they're driving with their head up their @$$ then they're dangerous; if they're paying attention, using some common sense and some courtesy, then they're all right.

They have to learn sometime...Besides that's why we have insurance. I'm more worried about the elderly drivers than the newbies.DYANN is a psycho.
