11 Players Per team. 1 Being the goalie. The other 10 playing a mixture of three main positions..The forwards..which go and shoot the ball..between 2-3 usually. The mids. which run everywhere in their space across the whole field. ex. right mid..covers the right side of the field. between 3-5 players then defense which covers the back and is the last people to stop the other teams forwards before the goalie. they rarely go past the midfield line. unless many are there. usually between 4-5 players if playing a defensive game

11 players. One is a keeper, 3 or 4 are defenders (different types of defenders a team may have are fullbacks, stoppers and sweepers), 3 or 4 midfielders (different types that some teams have are right or left outside, defensive midfielder, offensive midfielder, right center, left center, and center), and 2 or 3 forwards (right, left, and sometimes center).

11 players each side.
Positions depend on the formation played.
In a 442 system, there is one goalie, 2 center backs, 2 sided backs, 2 wingers/sided midfielder, 2 central midfielders, 2 strikers.
That is the most basic terms I can put it into, it is much more complicated.

11 players.
the main positions are defender, midfielder and forward (striker). Other combinations are winger, full back, side midfield, defensive midfield, attacking midfield, sweeper, and libero.
And don't forget a goalkeeper is a must.
