salary-wise, kevin garnett is the highest paid. in fact, he's one of the richest NBA players (off salary) in history. not to mention he's got his own brand. according to this site hoopshype.com, other high-paid ballers are allan houston, mike finley, shaq, chris webber, a.i., j-kidd, and kobe. vinsanity actually comes in tied at 18th.
if you count endorsements, MJ is still leading the pack. some $30-40 million a year for his jordan logo and other things he's doing. several sources that i checked say different things, but i went with hoopshype for your answer. so it really depends on how you define "highest paid."
