No. My dog was abandoned at birth. The mother killed his littermates.
He was fed with eye droppers, then baby bottles. Not only did he survive, he thrived. I'm the only mommy he's ever known. Last Friday was his 8th birthday. He's an 80 lb spoiled brat.
He's not just using me for food and shelter. I'm also his door opener, belly rubber, fetch partner and driver.

animals can't comprehend the idea of "using anthother being for self-gain" Its like saying: You ever wonder if that horse is thinking "Are these humans just using me to make money and cheap entertainment?" Well, I believe the guy above me about the cats though, they're pretty smart, and will wine about being hungry, but dont never want attention or to be bothered by humans. Funny isn't it?

when i was pregnant, i was having a bad day. and my dog Mixy walked in the room and i was sitting on the floor. i said 'Mixy, i sure could use a hug' and i swear on my daughter's life my dog gave me a hug. she put each of ehr paws on my shoulders and pressed her head on my cheek and just hugged me for a few minutes. true story, swear! and that wasnt a trick we taught her either. so to answer your question, no, i have never felt that way. i loved my doggy and i really miss her. she was the best friend i've ever had

No Blakey cant say that, they love me too much. Or that could be a good act! No really I love my 2 dogs, even though at times I must say their like kids! Spoiled rotten and they both love LASAGNA!

Yes..especially her electric blanket..Yup..My dog has an electric blanket and a teddy bear..she carries around her teddy bear and always likes to sleep under an electric blanket. Whats with that..spoiled dog!! But I love her.

I know what you mean. When was the last time your dog served YOU dinner? Or took YOU to the beach? Or cleaned up YOUR poop? It's tererible the way these canines take us for granted...

No cause I don't own any dogs, I own birds. They adore me, treat me like one of their little chicks.
Better still they love it when I come home or wake up in the morning cause they can share their sh*t with me.......even if it does run down my back.

No, she uses me for my pillows and blankets at night. She sleeps just like a human!

lol...My Mom tells her friends and people who visit her house that the house belongs to her Dogs....and they just let her live there! Ha Ha....!
