As long as he's healthy, why not? They already made such a big investment on him, they need to give him every chance to succeed. Cameron should be able to better hide his weaknesses and exploit his strengths than that idiot Saban.

Well, the starting job is techincally up for grabs, with Culpepper, Joey Harrington, and Cleo Lemon. Lemon plaed decently in the 2-3 games he played last year, but not good enough to be starter, unless he has a great, amazing preseason. Then, Harrington played ok, but he was too inconsistent to be starter right now. Culpepper seems to be the choice by default, so long as he stays healthy.

It's impossible to tell what's going to happen after picking up Cam Cameron. Nobody knows what he will do as head coach, because he has never been one.

I took Culpepper in 2 of my fantasy leagues last year and it came back to bite me in the @ss.

I think it would be in their best interest to draft a decent QB and WR, then at training camp, make it an open position, just like the Jets did. If they do this then perhaps we could see the Culpepper of old...then again we may see the rebirth of Harrington or birth of their draft pick, if they choose a QB.

I think that Saban really hurt the organization, Cameron has one HUGE task to complete.

Likely. Not sure that he will be much more than a place holder for someone like Brady Quinn, though.

However, I'm still reserving judgement to see how Culpepper plays when fully healed...which I don't believe he has ever been in Miami. He still could lead the team to some good things if he gets close to where he peaked in Minny.

yeah, he'll probably be the starter, and then after he sucks another co*k they'll throw somebody else in there... tears me apart to see that they wasted another 2nd round draft pick on a shoddy quarterback, wish they woulda just splurged and matched or even one-upped the saints' offer to brees instead of deciding his arm was too much of a gamble(i was one of the few people that thought settling for Culpepper just because it was his knee and all they were giving up for him was a 2nd rounder was a bad idea).. and the dolphins are still mired in a terrible quarterback search that i think they could have stopped with drafting Brodie Croyle in the 3rd round of last years draft instead of taking that douchebag derek hagan whose got the grip of an infant and can't grab or hold onto the football when its thrown to him.. all i can say is i hope they can get a good quarterback in this years draft, hopefully Brady Quinn who's being projected now by many analysts to drop to the dolphins at the 9th pick, if they draft Quinn and trade Culpepper for some better WR's or another d-lineman or linebacker i would be really happy.... as it stands now, though, i'm gearing up for another disappointing season with Culpepper being handed the reigns

via fact Al Davis spent a multitude of money on a participant who's probalbly going to verify and likely the confusing way via fact he needs his money's nicely worth. Daunte Culpepper merits the commencing job and Oakland stands a greater efficient threat of einning some video games and Jemarcus Russell would desire to verify wuickly from him and so Al Davis can get what he needs yet you by no potential comprehend while Al Davis is in contact. i think of that's a mistake to place him in earlier he's waiting and finally ends up being yet another bust.

No. The only chance he could have is if Harrington plays like Harrington and they don't draft a QB. I believe they will draft a QB this year (possibly Quinn) and use either Dante or Joey to be a mentor to him. Then, after this next year, they cut their losses with CPep and move on.
