i have two choices that i can't decide between: 1] the first is
godfather ll which was as good if not a little better than the
original. it sustained the great drama tension without missing a
beat and it also, of course, was the only sequel to ever take best picture for an academy award. 2] the other sequel i thought was
great was "silence of the lambs", which was done after 1986's
"the manhunter" based on the book "the red dragon", which was
later made into a poor movie. the manhunter was a low budget
but good film starring william peterson of "csi" fame studying the
serial killer as a profiler. try it one rainy day for fun. thumbs up.
