NATURAL ACNE PROTOCOL
1/ Never, ever touch your face.
2/ Use 3 facecloths to wash your face, one to soap on, one to soap off with very hot water, one to rinse off with ice cold water, in that order, once a day.
3/ If you are under 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A once a day with a full meal
4/ If you are over 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A twice a day with a full meal.
Do not get pregnant while taking vitamin A. Do not take any more, like Accutane, it will stop you growing.
5/ Never, ever. pick, squeeze or pop your spot. Read number 1 again.
6/ Do this for 90 days.
7/ Invest in a brand new pillow and 2 new or more pillow cases to double bag' your pillow. HOT wash every couple of days.

A bit of advice given to me as a teenager, a bit of science as I am studying allergic reactions and vitamin A is a part of that. A bit of research: I sat in a lecture at the back and watched the acne prone pick at their faces, those with the worse acne touched their faces 32 times in an hour, the clearest complexions didn't touch their faces even once. I have circumstantial evidence that acne is the result of dermatophyte transfer from hands to face...where it does not get washed off and is well fed by hormones, sweat a
nd oil...just a hypothesis... But it would explain why vitamin A is so effective as vitamin causes skin to remove dermatophytes.

The secret is never to touch the spots

Tips on how to treat acne and achieve perfect clear skin in as little as 7 days?

My dermatologist told me that Proactiv is good for the surface impurities and stuff, but not for deep acne that has built up over time.

I was on Proactive before I saw her, went on Rx meds for a couple years until my face was mostly clear again, and now I'm back on just Proactiv to maintain it.

How much time have you given it? You should try a new skincare regimen for at least 4-6 weeks before you decide if it works or not. If you've been using it for a while and it doesn't work, perhaps you should see a dermatologist. Seems like a bother but you'll be so happy you did. They can properly diagnose your skin type and recommend the proper products to get your skin clear and glowing. Proactiv will work for some people (usually if the acne is mild), but it could even be drying out your skin (which causes it to produce more oil and thus break out). I can't diagnose your skin for you, only a dermatologist can.

It depends if you are talking about acne scaring or acne redness not actually acne. If you are talking about scaring then you need to go to a dermatologist. If your acne is not getting better from proactiv go to a dermatologist and they can give you something else.

proactiv treats acne and prevents blemishes but does not treat blemishes. you are better of trying zenmed scar treatment kit.

If the product isn't working, then get rid of it and try some others. On the other hand, I've tried pretty much everything and still get blemishes based on my fluctuating hormones...

Check out the second link below for a dermatologist's reviews of Proactiv, and again, maybe consider trying something different.

Take vitamins, eat well, drink plenty of water. Good luck and I hope your skin improves!

If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symptoms and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.

For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.

Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.
Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:
