Being a young gay bodybuilder, myself, I can say that self-image played an important part in my drive to keep fit. Just like many women want to look and feel sexy to men, many gays want to please their guys too.

I don't know but I would think that they think the male body is a thing of beauty and they want to make their body as good looking as possible.
