I don't mean it in a sexual manner...I do this with my emails to everyone..siblings,parents,friends(this person is one of my friends).....I also do my forwarded emails like this....Am I supposed to not sign my mail a certain way because ONE person on my forwardng list is married?

Nope - it's fine if you do this with everyone. Just make sure you aren't sending someone the wrong signal, and clarify right away if someone raises the issue.

I suppose that if you were signing off with emoticons in business letters it would be inappropriate. I suppose though, now that I think about it, it might be taken the wrong way. your personal flowers and rainbows, faces etc may be misinterpreted. Im sure Im guilty of that!

I think, yes it probably is inappropriate to send a married person
your usual three roses & a blushing smile. Your signature
sounds really cute, but flirtatious and easy to be misunderstood.

I think it's cute. Just mention to the married/taken person, that you always put roses in your emails so they don't think you're flirting. It's good to be honest, especially when it comes to minor things.

I think its fine and I think you shouldnt worry about it. If someone signed an email to my husband like that I wouldnt think anything of it, esp if it were a fwd... its just a signature. People need to lighten up a little. :)

I don't think it's inappropriate at all. It's just "your" signature. I'm married and wouldn't have a problem with someone using that signature.

If this bothers someones spouse and they told you that then I would stop and respect that spouse, its not a big deal in your eyes but it might mean the world to the other person.

I think it depends how open the person or their spouse is about it. If its your signature I dont see any reason why you would need to change it for just that one person.

I would have to say that it depends upon the content of your email. The recipients of your emails would not know that you send ALL emails with this signature appended to them -- therefore the content would dictate whether a recipient would misinterpret your roses and emoticon.

People send me that kind of sttuff all the time. So I don't see what is wrong with it. Unless it bothers their spouse. n
