I think it all depends on the girl. A girl liking more of an athletic/muscular guy doesn't mean she is shallow, and that a girl that likes a skinnier not so buff guy isn't a deeply emotional open-minded girl. It's personal preference that's all. Perhaps a girl is dating an athletic guy because she is athletic herself, and that's something in common they share. I myself date a more athletic guy because I like to work out and play sports, but that doesn't mean I won't date a skinnier guy. His physical appearance has nothing to do with it. If the buff guy is an a** then I wouldn't date him any more then I would date a skinny guy that's an a**. Most girls (not all) date a guy that fits their similar personalities, interests, etc. That's just my opinion though, hope I didn't offend too much! Thank you!

Girls dont like skinny or weak boys.... they like strong boys( not weak is enough for some girls)... because strong boys seem so manly.

Because girls like to feel safe and protected. Although in saying that I have always gone for tall really skinny guys with little muscles.

I've always liked skinny boys. I also like athletic guys but not too athletic because I don't like muscles. I guess everyone has their own type of person they like.

i'm muscular myself and toned and athletic. Sixpack, nice chest muscles, nice biceps etc. I can honestly tell you that girls (most girls) prefer tall and skinny guys. I'm 173 and if i walk with my skinny non-muscular tall male friends i pretty much get treated like mister invisible all the time. When i walk alone girls don't look at me.
Don't worry mate, if you r skinny u will pull all the girls.

Shallow girls like muscular guys. Girls who are a little deeper can see beyond the pettiness of looks and see a guy for something beyond physical strength.

depends on the girl! i kno girls that are attracted to stong ones and girls that attracted to weak ones! there really is no right or wrong answer to that question
