Seems like all the big focus is on color or gender. Are you Dems. shooting from the hip when castng your vote ? And only care if a down-trodden minority or a female gets into the Whitehouse. If you care about this country you would vote for the best of the best.

Forget political parties if the American people don't unite and demand accountability from it's government they shall loose Democracy, Lock, Stock, & Barrel, once and for all.

So first of all, it's almost two years before the election, so who cares what the focus is? Secondly, it's the media you have a gripe with. They're the ones that decide what to cover every day on their networks. The Democrats don't make those decisions! And because there is no incumbent, there is an open field in both parties and many candidates are running. Isn't that a good thing? Isn't it a plus that American voters (wish there were more of them) have as many choices as possible over a broad spectrum of beliefs? What's your gripe? In the end, people will vote for whoever they feel is best.

... well, as someone said... it's like 2 years away almost... it's a little early to get out the criticisms, since no one has really done anything at all but talk...

it's still like almost a year away before anyone will even be casting a primary vote... so, saying anyone is doing anything "casting a vote" is silly...

this question would be like me saying "Do Republicans care who gets in the White House? all they have are two "heros" (Rudy from 9-11 and McCain from Vietnam) and a mormon... if you really cared about this country, you would vote for the best of the best... not just heros or some guy with a funny religion..."

we should all save this question and come back to it in about 10 months when people are STARTING to actually look at who they may be voting for in the primaries and have a good laugh...

plenty relies upon on the international economy. there is little that the authorities can actual do to enhance the economy. maximum of the present debt continues to be because of the recent Deal. That turned right into a Dem theory. well being care bill will also enhance the debt. each and every celebration has their personal priorities that they sense income debt and positively the opposing area will disagree and choose the money to be spent otherwise. a more beneficial efficient question will be...what's some thing that is fairly well worth the country going into debt over?

Yea, we do care, unlike what you want to believe. Is America ready for a black or woman president? For a long time yes; but more importantly, America is always ready for a good president, never mind gender or color. I have yet to hear from a Democrat or Republican that their vote will be based on race or sex. .(Though I suspect some on each side are hiding their true intentions.)

And yes I do take my vote seriously, which is why my vote is for Giuliani.

Keep on preaching!

Democraps only want to destroy the country by open boarders, raising taxes, and no defense.

Democraps don't care about the real issues when they vote. Here an example, many of them want to talk and talk abut how they care about the middle class in AMerica but if it were left up to them we would have a Socialist society where everyone that does work gets all their money takin away to pay for the illegals, drug addicts, and most minorities that live off the government and public funding such as welfare, medicare, medicaid, foodstamps.

My wife and I worked 2 jobs each 7 days a week and went to school full-time to make it through and get a college education. We finished last year and started making a descent wage now even after paying several thousand dollars in taxes we file our W2 and still have to pay even more. It just ain't right, and they wonder why it is so hard for young people to get ahead. Well, if we didn't have to kill ourselves working good stable jobs just to have Uncle Sam come take half of what we make so that we can pay for an umarried 17 year old Tyquesha's 6 babies(all with different dads) to sit at home and draw welfare everymonth maybe we would have to put our responsible young peopel through so much stress.

This is just an example, and I know I will probably get several complaints about it but people need to grow up. If you think that you are old enough to have sex and get pregnant your old enough to get your A** out and work to support your kids, quit depending on everyone else to do for you.

Maybe these democraps need to make a vote to force people to be reposible for themselves. By telling this group of people white, black, hispanic, or whatever if you don't work you don't eat. And everyone can pay for your own medical bills, get insurance, and yes you can afford it. Quit buying cloths, new cars(WHEELS), phones, ipods, XBOX,PS3. All this is unnessasiary proritize your life. Quit counting on others to make up for your worthlessness

I am not going to "shoot from the hip" at election time. I will do my research and vote for the best person that is up for the position. I can't imagine my vote going to a Republican though, I enjoy Seperation of Church and State way too much and I for one am tired of having a bible thumping, holier than thou, AWOL, Commander in Chief. We need someone who will LEAD this country, not run to daddy when things get bad....

Decmocrats want to be in the White House and it is the reason that they are making a big deal about gender and color of the future President in order to catch the attention of the people.

I agree, do they actually understand the role of a president?? I add the war to this too cause it's a long time to live with a bad president after they end the war in the first few months. It really scares me that they are treating the election like some kind of society club.

That is what I said about Bush and Gore, best of the best. Why did American's vote for the average guy who was like "everyone else" instead of the intellectual? Republicans tend to choose one issue and vote on that, ie. abortion, gay marriage, without even thinking about all the other damage that is being done by their elected officials, ie. invasion of privacy, misled war.
