PRECAUTION : As a precaution for those using filesharing, the best is to use the filtering software that usually come's with it. Don't allow file extensions .exe, vmb dont allow anything with the exception of mp3, wav, mov, mpeg etc, Also whatever folder you down to open that folder right click and select "view" then detail's.
After downloading,always check the file type and make sure its an audio or video format. not a file or application. while this isnt a 100% foolproof it knocks down the chance of getting a virus considerably.

Limewire seems to be safe. I probably use it once every other week and get about 10 songs. Make sure to move your downloads out from your shared file periodically. You don't want to have a large library available which makes you more vulnerable to being fined.
