City life tends to be more busy- some people like it, some don't. The country life is the complete opposite. Depending where you are coming from makes a huge difference too. It's kinda hard to switch from one to another.

In the city, sometimes you don't have to have a car and you can walk everywhere. Lots of things are close at hand and there's always something to do. In the country...you have peace and quiet.....

Country-peace and quiet, wildlife, you can run around outside naked, no close neighbors, TREES, drinking water without added chemicals, the smell in the air after a rain, etc, etc, etc

Big City-I can't think of anything.

In the city: Mass transit, easy access to whatever you want, Interesting people, High paying jobs, nightlife, culture, art, a more liberal outlook on life.

In the country: Clear nights, plenty of space/privacy, cheap rents/mortgages, friendly neighbors, lack of police presence, pothead farmers that grow sick reefer, low car insurance rates, beautiful scenery.

from visiting big cities in Florida, Ohio, Michigan, South Carolina, etc. the only advantage i can spot is that the shopping is closer. the crime, drugs, traffic, noise and filth is appalling in every city i visit.
i love the peace and quiet of rural living, and can take the cities in small doses as required.
