I am going on a cruise in May and one of the stops is Alexandrea Egypt. I am a westerner and know about some of the troubles with anti-american movements. I am have lebanese but with my blonde hair and very light olive skin you would never know it. Any advice/trips in traveling to this country. I will be there for 2 days.

Alexandria is very hot and humid. You will be with a cruise so there is nothing to worry about. As you will discover skin color is not an issue. Egypt is a N.African nation and as such all skin colors are present all the way from white to Ebony Nubian black.
Sit back relax and enjoy. Because of religious considerations you should expose as little as possible of your body. So pants and long sleeves buttoned to the neck.

You'll have a great time in Alexandria. There's so much to see in only 2 days - make sure you go to library and all the historical sites - as well as Mansoura. We used to vacation in Marmura many years ago and it was great but private community. Have fun and enjoy the walks on the cornish at night!!!

There should not be a problem at all, but expect the weather to be hot so try to take along some light but not revealing clothes also to avoid sun burn.

yes you won't have any problems in Alexandria
I just traveled there in December
Fun things to see:
Definitely the catacombs, Fort Quaitby, Roman theater, and pompeys pillar

may is hot in Egypt but with bearable temperature,Alexandria is so cool in summer as its location on the mediterranean
most people in Alex. and Cairo are so friendly and know how to deal with their guests.English is widly used in Egypt .sure you will enjoy your cruise ..
