Dont you just love this song. For me this song means something really important and I can relate to past incidents in my life. WHat does it mean to you?
Aren't you happy for Dixie Chicks? (Grammy)
Dont you think that true artist like them are kind of rare and people need to stay away from pop "divas" who basically are just teenagers and brats? What do you think is absent in the music industry?

I know all these questions are kind of different but I dont want to reduce my points.

"On the eve of the U.S. invasion of Iraq, she said she was ashamed that President Bush was from her home state of Texas. Not since Jane Fonda’s trip to Hanoi had an entertainer enraged so many people with a political statement."

"The uproar in the conservative country music clan drove their songs off the charts, their music off the radio and the Dixie Chicks into self-imposed exile. You haven’t heard much about them, but that is about to change. Later this month they will release their first album in nearly three years — and as one of the songs says, they’re not ready to make nice. "

"Their new CD, called "Taking the Long Way" chronicles all the things that have happened to them, but if you were expecting something just soft and maternal, guess again. One song in particular, a single released six weeks ago, sums up their current state of mind. It’s called "Not Ready to Make Nice."

Basically, it's about how they felt.

Dixie Chicks rule! I'm so happy for them. They deserved to win all of those Grammys.

Not ready to make nice for me means being able to stand up for your own beliefs and not being afraid to do so.
The Dixie Chicks are true artists, because they have the guts to make voice their own opinions, whether they be political or not.
I applaud the Dixie Chicks for what they did.

It means she's not ready to forgive the guy who broke her heart harshly yet....

by saying "to make nice" means to make everything ok like nothing happened...

so shes not ready to forgive and forget untill she heals her broken heart.... xD =)

Should we also explain to you what "the sky is blue" means, while we're at explaining the obvious?
