Accepting a marriage that is doomed to fail is not worth it simply to avoid hurting someone's feelings.

A proposal is to ask for a person's hand in marriage. & Marriages is 'so-called' forever.

So if the girl doesn't want to marry the boy, even if he were to propose on Valentines' Day, the girl has to say no.

If she does not want to hurt his feelings, just tell him you'll consider and let him know another day.

Don't say yes to him on Valentines' Day and the next day rejects him. Just ask for some time to consider and reply him truthfully a few days later.

Do you anticipate perhaps ever being interested? If yes, then decline and ask to work on your relationship in specific (kindly phrased) ways before you consider that next step of commitment.

If not, then you'd be wasting this guy's time to stay with him beyond the point of the proposal. If he wants to marry you and you will never want to, then you've reached a stumbling block that really can't be overcome.

Love must be celebrated day-after-day, no longer basically on Valentine's day.. society places a lot stress on you.. i'd be lots happier if my guy shocked me with a pink rose on an undemanding day.. and a concept is continually particular.. :)

Better to hurt his feelings than to give him the wrong impression.

He should know that she's not interested in getting married. He should know her real feelings.

She should probably buy a dictionary and throw it at him and tell him to learn proper grammar.
