Does anyone know if I can somehow Permanently divorce my mother in law and get a restraining order from her as well? I need both. She admitted 2nite that she has been trying to get my husband and I divorced. She also lied saying that I told her family that my husband is not our daughters father. NOT TRUE I CALLED She also lied to my husband telling him that I call my sons father in front of her and that he is my boyfriend. I told her we will check the phone records to prove she is lying and she got quiet. She also admitted she hates my son (from a previous relationship). I just can't take it. It hurts that I have told my husband for the last 1 1/2 years that she is trying to break us up. He kept saying that I am crazy. She admitted it to me in front of him. Then she told me he tells her he married me out of spite and he doesn't love me. Yes she said this infront of him and told him to tell me the truth. He told her she was lying. HELP!!!

I would say your husband is as much the problem as his mom is. You need (or someone needs to) explain to him that he needs to rein in mama or she'll be getting her wish and he'll be getting a bill for child support.

He needs to decide whether he loves you or his mom more. He has seen what you have seen. If he can't stop and smell the roses he needs a new nose.

His mother may have other problems, and I don't fault anyone for loving his or her mother. We should love and respect our parents. However, he didn't choose his mother. He did choose his wife.

You can't divorce your mother in law, and he can't divorce his mother, but you and he can tell her to take a hike if she can't learn to treat you better.

Talk to your clergyman, your attorney, and get some counseling quick!! And drag his sorry butt with you.

There is no reason that you should not be able to show just cause to whom ever to get your restraining order..Just be sure that you have a witness with you at the time your Mother-in-law makes comments to you or lies to other members of your family..

How old are you? Why bother divorcing her (it's called seeking emancipation) if you are old enought o just blow her off? Change your phone number, don't go there anymore, and get a restraining order.

It is not healthey to have that around you or your kids. Your husband needs to put his mother in her place. If he refuses get the restraiing order. If he doesn't like that idea then divorce him you and your kids deserve better

Sounds like you need to get your mother in law laid.Take her to Las Vegas and pimp her *** on the street. You might even make a little extra coin doing it.

you TELL your husband what she is doing and demand him to resolve this problem. If he does not back you up, then he is no better. you are the queen and need to be treated like one!

Honey, when you married him, she was the baggage. This is a package deal.
