Curiosity is actually the name of the girl who killed the cat. She did it because the stray kept trying to shag her pampered Persian. Now the accounts of this have been inconsistent, but many believe the cat was cremated and the ashes are on a space capsule en route to Jupiter.

We buried my cat Fluffy in her grave. She was curious enough to chase a ground squirrel down its hole got bit on the bridge of the nose between the eyes and she was an instant goner.
