there is a girl in one of my classes who leaves 15 minutes early just to watch her soaps. I told her to tape them or watch them online.

There are people out there who believe anything if it is on T.V. even cartoons. Never underestimate the stupidity of the human race. People believe that the Simpsons are real although, to be fair, sometimes the Simpsons make a lot more sense than some of the real life stuff like big brother etc. - mind you if they made a soap using some of the action from Big Brother no one would believe it, it would be considered too outrageous!

Have not met anyone but in South Africa there were a group of people that beat up an actor for 'cheating on his wife' in a soap opera. They actually believed that he was married to the actress in the soap opera and were upset when they saw him dining with another women in public.

No, but I did know a girl that didnt know anything that was happening in the world ex Iraq. Her parents would claim that God would not want them hearing about the violence.
