The obvious answer, as many have aready pointed out, is John Adams and John Quincy Adams.

However, there was also a case of a grandfather-grandson Presidential connection: William Henry Harrison was the grandfather of Benjamin Harrison.

First of all Junior is a nick name for he is not a Junior at all! his father is GHB and he is GWB and that makes him not a junior the name has got to be exactly the same. And no he is not the only one, duh? President John Adams and signee of the Declaration and the Constitution, and his son, President John Quincy Adams. Father and son and I hate listing them in any comparison to the Bush family for they were excellent people in our government. What a shame that we have sunk that low.
