rose_4526 must have confused New Mexico and Mexico. Southwest does not fly into Mexico or any other place outside the US.
Sans' reply is right on. Without know the points of departure and arrival. the question is incomplete.

I don't know the best one to use but I definitely would not suggest using Mexicana. My husband and I used this airline in October and were treated horribly! My husband had won a free voucher which he activated for the dates we would be traveling months before our trip. The Mexicana customer service rep informed him that he would only have to pay the taxes on the plane ticket at LAX the day of our flight. Well once we got to LAX the day of our flight and got in line to check in the girl at the counter told us that we could not pay for our taxes there that we had to go to another office offsite but was closed. So after asking what else we could do cause we already had our whole trip paid for the girl told use very rudely to move out of the way she has other customers to help. Very upset I asked for the manager. Once she got there she said she has a plane to board so we're either on the plane or were not. she said our only option was to pay $750.00 for a new plane ticket for my husband. Feeling we had no other option we paid for the new ticket. so in the end my husband had two seats on the plane and the airline in no way refunded our money. Save yourself the headache and the horrible customer service!

You can use Mexicana, Aeromexico, and sometimes Alaskan Airlines is the cheapest, i agree that Azteca is not a good one, being in Mexico you can use 2 new ones that are cheap and very good: Interjet and Volaris. Have a good trip!

My in-laws came in from Mexico using Southwest airlines. They also went back home on the same air line.
