I've only seen clear shoes, no actual glass or crystal... I don't think anyone would be stupid enpugh to manufacture or wear those. But you can find the clear ones everywhere online or at any fleamarket. They're very cheap. Search yahoo for "clear high heels".

A pair of glass slipper shoes is mentioned in the fairy story for children: Cinderella. Cinderella wore a pair to the Prince's ball.They are not archaic, obsolete, I do not know about any-one else, but I some-times come across them in stores in my country.There are beautiful shoes made of a particular type of expensive plastic; the plastic is firm and very durable, the styles are formal, casual. Just the type of shoes , to be chosen, as the foot-wear for the lead- character in a story of Kings, princesses, queens and princes. The origins of the shoes is also interesting ; I heard that it is associated with a particular ethnic group, I am not sure if this is correct.A very beautiful shoe.Who-ever invented this shoe type, invented a very beautiful shoe.

These look just like Cinderella's glass slippers. They are made of clear vinyl. I have also seen clear shoes made of acrylic. So, you may want to do a Google search on:

FYI, a European shoe size of 38 is roughly equivalent to a 6 1/2 in the U.S. (in case you need to order them from the U.S.)

You won't find glass slippers, but maybe plastic. look for them online... Try a shoe department store they have many choices.

The only glass shoes i can refer to are the cheap perspex platforms, often worn by girls who either go clubbing or are dressing up.

I would think they go against all EU health and safety regulations... clearly the Fairy Godmother didn't think this through at all which is why she was fined heavily by the Department of Trade and Industry.

im probably two times younger than you and it is very obvious you won't get shoes made out of glass....the things i hear on this website!you can get ones made out of plastic
